Hi, I am requesting the permission to oversee some of the functions I previously created, identify any modifications or errors, and update them accordingly. Additionally, I would like to work on implementing more functions related to Bengali and other South Asian languages and connect-maintain their implementations or tests. Given the current practice above that expiry of the temporary right causes a 48 hour gap in this right, please can I pre-emptively apply for a permanent version of this right, which would otherwise expire in about two weeks? I am one of the most active users, and use Wikifunctions almost every day, and it would be a hindrance to have a two day gap in the ability to link functions and tests. --99of9 (talk) 05:38, 13 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi! I’ve been involved in the Abstract Wikipedia project since July 2020. This included creating and editing functions, implementations and tests on the beta Wikifunctions site. I have been a committed contributor, and I have worked to advance language processing and function development on the site. Among the important test cases I've implemented, tested, and executed are the English -ion base form (Z13280): The transformation of a verb into an agent noun by adding the suffix "-ion", English -ed form (Z13284): past tense and past participle form of the verb, and English -er form (Z13262): English verb to agent noun ending in -er, all of which have been added to the Catalogue. I am dedicated to further improving these functionalities using Python scripting since I have a strong desire for continual progress. My participation in the Functioneer usergroup would give me priceless chances to work with like-minded people, exchange ideas, and improve Wikimedia projects' functioning as a whole. I'm excited to help the organisation achieve its goals with my knowledge and experience and to actively participate in determining Wikimedia's future in (abstract wikipedia). Regards..
