Requesting admin. I would love to help out moderating a project like this, and would have contributed way earlier if I had heard about the beta. Spent a whole night learning everything about Wikifunctions before becoming a functioneer. I've been creating many functions, implementations, and test cases, so I feel I have plenty of knowledge for this role. Admin on Wikidata since October 2022 after a unanimous vote, with 167,000 contributions. Long-time programmer so I can understand how various functions here work. Whilst this project is still in it's "early days", I'd like to volunteer to help with some of the more routine maintenance tasks such as spam deletion and function deletions that will likely soon begin to pop up. I've been a page mover, patroller/reviewer and rollbacker on enwiki, and have edited there for the past 1.5 years. I am looking forward to the point where wikifunctions is as large as enwiki and supports other languages as well as js and python. Yours, Zippybonzo (talk) 07:48, 31 August 2023 (UTC)

    My activity on Wikimedia as a whole decreased recently for personal reasons, however I am significantly increasing it, and I plan to edit wiki functions a lot more. The reason I haven’t had much activity here is because the project is still really quite new and I had lowered my activity, however my activity will be progressively increasing.   • Weak oppose I am not sure that it is the time for adminship here. The project has been open for over a month at this point and I would like to see some activity here before a request for adminship. Only 10 edits have been made so far and requesting adminship after 3 edits is just a bit quick for me. Without an explicit 'need' for specific tools I think that revisiting this request down the line is a better option. Terasail[✉️] 09:55, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
    I just wanted to address a few of your points, with editing, I currently haven't found an area to edit in entirely, however I'm exploring options, and I would say that the project has been operating however far from open for the past month, as it is still in limited rollout. The explicit need for tools is more to help the project develop over the first few months, and then I will consider stepping down if the project has processes like deletion and anti-vandalism processes. I've been actively creating translations and functions/implements/test cases on this new project for a while since its launch. What's more, I hold translation admin flag on Wikidata. If it is only a small number of templates, then a request at WF:AN would probably be best instead. Terasail[✉️] 17:43, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
@Terasail For example things such as templates used in deletion processes, and templates for other maintenance processes such as renaming etc. Zippybonzo (talk) 17:43, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
I am Neutral Neutral on this request. I understand how that may be valuable but at the same time, there is no process for deletion and renaming at the moment resulting in all requests ending up being posted at WF:AN anyway. With this in mind, adding the templates would proably result in them not being used consistently and should not be required without prior discussion on the process but there is also no real harm in adding them either.
