Notice of relevant discussion re maintainer rights

Since this is a discussion about criteria for granting rights, figured that it would be useful to drop a link here - please see Wikifunctions:Project chat#Criteria for granting "maintainer" rights/editing running functions. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 00:40, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

Cannot edit qqq

Hi,

I cannot edit qqq documentation because of AbuseFilter 7, which requires 500 edits.

This should at least be allowed to translation administrators, of which I am one.

Moreover, I'd suggest making the edit count requirement lower than 500. I don't have a data-driven suggestion for a number, but I'd guess that 100 is more than enough. Contributions to qqq from usual translators are usually good, and I'd love to put as few barriers as possible in front of them. Thanks for the consideration. Amir E. @Amire80 I've added an exemption for translation admins (Special:AbuseFilter/history/7/diff/prev/14) - I'd support also lowering the threshold to 100 but want to hear from other admins, specifically @Minorax who created it --DannyS712 (talk) 04:27, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
Eh, I believe I imported this directly from Meta without changing anything. I suggest removing the edit count threshold for TA and leave it at 500 for non-TAs to prevent unnecessary creation of qqq pages. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 04:40, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
