Java applets

The text says: "Wikifunctions aims to make life easier for developers, who can rely on this repository like on any external library, and for end-users who can call functions as needed, in a way that is currently only available with a very uneven coverage through specific websites that are often written in the form of 1990s websites with Java applets."

Mmm... I don't write as much code these days as I used to, but Java applets? Do they still exist? I really can't recall seeing any websites, for coders or for anything else, after 2010. But hey, I might be wrong. Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 22:30, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
