Film-maker biography

- I understand that you're looking for suggestions to focus topic areas. I understand that some articles should be "models". A good idea would be to try to write the biography of a filmmaker using data from Wikidata. The Wikidata data generic queries template would be a good start since it provides some useful Wikidata queries (https://m.wikidata.org/wiki/Template:Generic_queries_for_filmmakers). It would be wise to start with a female filmmaker since it would force us to handle with female form in the article. I suggest Alice Guy as a good example. PAC2 (talk) 21:16, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

- Phonemes and allophones
- Every sound on the International Phonetic Alphabet (Q21204) and variants thereof. There would need to be different models for vowels, pulmonic and non-pulmonic consonants, tones etc. Many (155) Wikipedia editions cover the IPA, but there are rather fewer that cover specific phones such as near-open central unrounded vowel (Q503323) (40). If we can characterise the differences between similar sounds across languages and dialects, we may be able to “render” Abstract content in a more natural/native-speaker audio form, extending access to semi-literate users and those with visual impairment.
