New » Template:Main page/News

Hi @Sannita (WMF)! Thanks, everyone, for all your work on the latest status updates! Just a quick thought: I think it’d be better if we didn't regularly update the main page template for the news. It's usually much cleaner to use a separate, dedicated template for the updates themselves—that's a pretty standard approach in many projects. This way, we keep the news history independent of any changes to the main page structure. --Mdktb (talk) 18:07, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
