- Is this meant to cover languages for which exactly 1 is singular and 0, 2+, and fractional values are plural? (Like English.) Or does that level of modelling not belong to these enums and need instead to live inside the language-specific Functions that use this Type? Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 13:27, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- I think this tipe could be used by any language that have 2 grammatical numbers called "singular" and "plural", regardless of the details (considering that also in English it's not completely true that 0 is plural, consider for example the expression "no man"). - "No man" is a contraction of "Not one man" and then takes the singular, but "Zero men" indeed takes the plural. But indeed, it's a mess! Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 23:01, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
