Clarification of what types of spaces are removed

Is the intent of this function to replace all types of spacing code points, e.g. CRLF, non-breaking spaces, figure spaces, etc? Which spaces are included and which are excluded? Dhx1 (talk) 01:54, 4 August 2023 (UTC)

Right now it just removes the normal space character; maybe there should be another function called "Remove Whitespace" that'll remove other characters? Ingenuity (talk) 02:08, 4 August 2023 (UTC)

@Dhx1 and Ingenuity: I came here with the exact same question. We should first update the description of this function to make this really more clear. For instance, I propose to rename this function "remove common space" and change the description to "return a string without any common space (U+0020)". What do you think?
