The Gregorian calender is the most widely used calender system. As such, its use in functions is supported in Wikifunctions.

Day of the week

Wikifunctions has a type specifically for days of the week, Day of the week (Z17402). It has seven objects, one for each day of the week.

Gregorian calender month

Wikifunctions has a type for months of the year, Gregorian calendar month (Z16098). It has twelve values, one for each month

Day of Roman year

Wikifunctions will have a type for a day of the year. It has two sub values: the month of the year, and the day of the month, represented as a natural number. The type will be able to represent a leap day

Gregorian era

Wikifunctions has a type for the Gregorian era, Gregorian era (Z17813). It has two possible values, BC and AD

Gregorian year

(To be updated when the type is created)

Wikifunctions will have a type for a year. It has two sub values: the era, and the year, represented as a natural number. The type will not represent year 0 as there was no such year.

Gregorian calender date

Wikifunctions will have a type for a specific date. It has two sub values: the year and the day of the year.
